Description

In the current git head (rev b6c6b3776c1fb1d60d3fdef25f8536b615432c20) the touchscreen does not work. It seems to be, that the the screen once it was pressed never leaves the pressed state.

I found the last working version (rev 8d003cf75e90283c0895346689cbc70508089521) and currently working on bisecting the kernel code to find the the commit which is responsible for the regression.

The defect came in with the merge of stable_tracking from openmoko ( http://git.gnufiish.org/?p=gnufiish.git;a=commit;h=987f0e42a5a92cf37c25ed91b55072a21eea908b). I am currently cherry-picking every ts relevant commit and try to figure out where the defect comes from.

It seems that the group filter is the reason for a the not working touchscreen. Simply disable the group filter in current head, generate a new pointercal and touchscreen will work.

  • priority changed from critical to minor
  • milestone core_800_with_gsm deleted

Without the group filter the TS works not to bad.

Morphis is working out how to get the filter useable for us. It is no longer critical and nothing for the first milestone though.
